Heard they are getting rid of the multis they still have left. And I'm not sure what good an aerial survey company would do someone in his situatin when he can just go to Ameriflight or somewhere similar.

So I've got 1500 TT, but only 20 multi. Will be taking the ATP written soon. Looking for advice. Will anybody touch me with only 20 hrs multi? I heard, but haven't confirmed, that PSA has no multi mins, can anyone confirm? Buying another 30-80 hours of twin time isn't really feasible.

The on-demand cargo stuff is always a good option. You may get hired for a right seat turbine gig with your times, and upgrades can be quick.
Another option to look into is right seating at FlightSafety or Simuflite. You'll learn a lot and it can often lead to a short cut to a right seat jet job (if you're lucky).

Thanks for the replies. Last I spoke to Sheri Hudson at Ameriflight, they wanted 100 hrs multi. Dunno if that's changed, that was a year or so ago. I'm still on the fence when it comes to Lakes due to their training contract, though writing them a $7200 check after getting a few hundred hours in the 1900 would be cheaper than buying 80 hours in a Seminole. PSA appears to be a reasonable option.
Are you talking places like Kalitta? I once heard of an outfit that flies Sherpas, don't remember the name, but I think they did that sort of stuff? Not real familar with that segment of the industry, would appreciate a little more info if you can.

Twisting your ear hopefully for the better but most people buy their first +/-50 hours of ME. Nobody can fly one worth a damn up to that point and insurance companies will not insure you. The good news is you can build your bought hours while learning valuable skills, using a twin to get your CFI, CFII, MEI, ATP, or flying around at night on the panel. If you do the latter make sure it is not intentionally easy flying, try for IMC, busy airspace, all kinds of approaches, ask for copilot critiques- take it all very seriously. You'll need the skills later on.

Cape will take you...especially if you meet ATP requirements. When I got hired there I had a couple hundred multi, people in my class had 30 or less though.

Mar-Tech still has a twin. There was talk of getting rid of it however, haven't heard anything for awhile and the twin is actually being rotated on a regular basis now. Even the juniors are starting to see some twin time.
