Smile Does Eagle really only require 200 XC?

Ok folks, new to APC forum so please go easy. I have no idea if I'm posting this in the right place.
On APC it says Eagle minimums are "ATP written & ATP minimums." I take this to mean 1500 TT, 500 XC, etc.
On the Eagle careers page it says 200 XC required.
I'm trying to figure out if this 200 XC on the careers page is reflecting the new R-ATP minimums, or if they simply haven't updated the page in a while.
So which is it, 500 XC or 200 XC for AE? And if it's 200, is that implying R-ATP? And if so, how could that be if the new rule hasn't been implemented yet?

Does anyone know how many pilots Eagle is hiring? Are they filling classes?

Does anyone think that with the current hiring state, 1500 TT/200 XC would suffice @ Eagle? I ask because I still have about 250 TT to go to reach the 1500 mark, but I only have 250 XC. I am loving my instructing job and don't want to leave, but I'm building very little XC time. (Already read the threads on creative ways to get XC out of students and have chosen not to go down that road except when consistent with the needs of the student.) My instructing job keeps me very busy and so I'm tempted to stay and shoot for R-ATP minimums, but I'm also thinking it may be more prudent to go and get a cargo job and amass another 250 XC since I need 250 More TT anyway. I understand a cargo job is the best option for experience building, but it would most likely require a year contract, etc., and I don't want to be the last guy hired at the regionals.

Agreed. Trust me there are people who the second they hit the minimums that apply and expect to be hired. Most aren't, but some do get hired. The ones that do are simply because of who they are, not their qualifications.

Not filling classes, word is 10 or so are showing up every month. A far cry from the 600 they wanted this year.

Be very careful with Eagle's published minimums. It would probably be better if you possess the old ATP mins. for x country, instrument, pic and etc. A good benchmark for success in the industry is about 1300 to 1500TT and 300 to 500ME. At that mark you will have a greater chance of being very successful with training and moving on when you are done with Eagle. Please understand this is just the opinion of a former check airman with that company.
