UPS hiring update
#12
First off it's just the interview at this point.2nd I didn't apply for a mgt position.3rd I'm still working 20 days a month at U.With the upcoming screw job on seniority integration with the folks at AW, thanks to our incompetent ALPO negotiators and an MEC chairman that negotiates FOR MGT against the pilots. Not to mention that Dugie Parker and his mgt team have planned for profitable ops even at $40/barrel fuel, oh wait it's at $70+ now, oops. Me thinks it's time to go else where. Does anybody out there have any idea what is going on at UPS with contract talks and what the new payscales are going to be? thanks. WE83

War Eagle,
I have to agree with EDPM. I would tell you to hold out for a Union number, but if the only job is a Mgnt position. Id hate to be in that position...
As far as contract Neg. Were still at a stand still, the strike vote came back with a 99% yes vote for a strike if the two sides cannot find common ground. For me, I looking for an industry leading contract, nothing less.
