From what I've seen they are improving a bit. I went from an average of single digits to seeing upper 40s to 50 passengers. This is probably partly due to them figuring out how to schedule flights to maximize passenger loads, but it has to be partly due to an increase in passengers as well. A few weeks ago, I saw nearly all single business people flying, and now I'm seeing families and couples. Seems like it has started to transition from essential business travel to at least some family travel.

AAG just announced they're likely laying off 3,000 people October 1, but since demand is apparently coming back faster for regional flying than for mainline, we're probably less screwed than Alaska is.
It's even better for Skywest, since they're apparently keeping their flying, and will literally be stealing jobs from union employees in a couple months.
