Horizon or Skywest as a PNW local?

Good, but do you have the apps in? Right now there are majors taking regional guys with no TPIC. You are already competitive, although an ATP might expedite things a little. Nor do you have to wait for your separation date. Most places will hold a CJO open for six months if you aren’t yet available.
Hitting publish on the apps soon. Have my ATP and B-737 type already too.
I paid for an app review, but it’s not until Feb 17th because they are booked up. Wondering if I should publish now and then make corrections later, or publish in a couple weeks when they’ve had a chance to go over it with me?

Get the major apps in first and see what happens. If no bites by sep date, apply to QX or any regional, they'll have you in class the following monday.

If your sep date is soon I'd publish apps now. If you have any grey area issues on the app, answer conservatively in the direction of full disclosure. That's far safer than not disclosing something.
If your only concerns are happy-to-glad and polish on the app, you can clean that up later with the review service. Airlines generally allow for updates to applications.

That^^^^
and you have (I assume) the full year to move to residence of choice:

So the kids can finish out the school year in Spokane while you do ground school and IOE.
That way the service can pay to relocate you should you decide to live in base for your new employer.

As others have said you can probably skip QX entirely. If you do come I recommend the Q, especially if you’re not gonna be here for the long haul. Commuting to SEA to sit reserve on the jet for the next year won’t be fun. Flights have been packed lately between GEG and SEA.
I know a lot of Captains and FOs leaving to the majors from the Q.
Also, historically they offer Q classes almost immediately following your interview where the jet may have a several month waiting period for a class date.

SkyWest just added 50+ Captains to SEA. that dropped Jr CA to 2.5 years up there. NH just out of training got based there.. 11 more Alaska E175's coming this year. Looks like they may be going to Seattle.. If you don't want the PNW gamble then Horizon is the safe bet...

Are those 11 more E175s in addition to what Skywest and Horizon currently fly, or is a shift of 11 from Horizon to Skywest?

Let’s say you live 10 minutes away from GEG and already have over 2000 TT and 1000 TPIC military jet heavy time, and you’re current. Is it worth going to the Q to build more time and 121 experience, or still better to go to the 175 (and now have to commute) while waiting on the call from a major? Is the jet time really that much better to justify a commute when you already have multi-jet PIC time? Genuinely curious if the commute to SEA would be worth the 175 time.
