"The entire pilot group a few months ago approved a pay raise by 95% and you can see for yourself this is a small group of professional agitators who are not aligned with the pilot group and we suspect most are not Blue pilots".

2017 summer and fall will be telling in my opinion. If we are not very close to a CBA by then it could be a long fight then.

So far that has not been the indication from the NC and MEC. They are cautious but also can only say so much due to NDA's.

Progress is still being made. There have not been LBFO's or an impass on any items.

I urge you to attend a meeting, contact your LEC rep, P2P volunteer, or even the MEC. Every time I've spoken with either of those groups, I come away with a better idea of how negotiations are progressing and their expectations for how they need to continue. Typically, I come away from those interactions feeling better about the state of our negotiations.

While we're past the point where I had originally hoped to see a TA, I trust the MEC and NC, and would prefer to take some extra time to ensure this contract is done right, rather than fast.

I agree with you, by the end of this year, we will either have or be very close to a TA or have a real fight on our hands.

Awesome!

After all those interactions ... now the 'tell' is end of 2017. I thought it was this summer or was it last summer?

Default Strike vote

Mesa flight attendants voted 99.56% to approve a strike authorization.

When the time comes, let's try not to embarrass ourselves by having a worse showing than regional FAs. Hopefully everyone's strike fund is starting to swell.

I'm fairly new to the game, will the other unions at Mesa walk off in solidarity?

If they are released for a strike, yes.

As far as our FAs, since they aren't unionized I wonder how that'll play out...

They would go back to JBU for the extra two weeks of training to become airline pilots and take our jobs...😜

That is contingent on the size of your shovel. I'd venture 200K a year guys have more discretion. First and second year - heck even third year 190 guys - are in more of a financial squeeze. I'm ratcheting down debt at a record pace preparing for a siege but many can't and won't be able to go a prolonged distance. FAs at Mesa can walk right into a job a Starbucks with a raise. And ten bucks says the blond above doesn't work there...I'd bet more but strike fund and all...

When the company gives us a TA, we will vote yes. 1 Vote and 1 Vote only Vassily. For those who actually vote, they'll vote yes. The ones who are too busy picking up VDAs, RSAs and Open Time will not be bothered.
