Flights at JFK briefly slowed down by turtles | Newsday

"Briefly alowed down".... only like 6-7 hours.

For a turtle, 6-7 hours is only a brief time. :p

That picture is way old. A seven two and an original 737? Can't say they just used a stock photo from the internet, that's from before the web!

To be a downer again but the ways things are going I don't even know a quality CBA will matter. I know we're still making money but the last 6 months have all the signs of us going out of business. If we switch to serving Pepsi instead of Coke then alarms should go off

We're not going out until we pull an Independence Air: three flights a day to Lansing, Michigan in a CRJ200 with 15 people on each flight. Or 20 flights a day to Newark.

The journalist info says a 727 has three engines. In the photo, they can only see two engines, so it cannot be a 727.

Wildlife management people collected the turtles. 6-7 hours. That is a slow pick up. Question is were they on LCR and had to fly in from the west coast?

After Jeff Martin was hired we had a winter IROP where we pre-cancelled a bunch of flights before the weather was even a factor. It was the smoothest IROP I have seen at Jetblue. Pax were reaccomodated well in advance, crews in position and rested for restart.

Then we received an email the next IROP how we need to capture as much revenue as we can, and we ran right up til the airport had to shut down because they couldn't keep up with the snow. It was a typical JB disaster.

So I do think mgmt knows how to handle IROPS, it's just that they (Joel Peterson) want to grab as much short term cash as they can without regard to the longer term damage to our reputation.

Going out of business you say?

Making money? But going out of business?

Delusional...

How are things suppose to go out of curiosity?

My girlfriend just had brunch with RH's wife and kids, she said the tech venture lady said the the new pack outs were because Frontier was going to buy us and that's how they pack their stuff....

Then again, weren't 50 sweaters supposed to be a thing of the past buy now?

This place will shut down when Kim's ICBM goes further than he can pee.

I'm just being dramatic. But seriously though it seems like it's a business that has no future. No investments being made, no vision, no ra ra emails. It's just been very un-JetBlue like lately with no reason. Like when your in a marriage and you think everything is skippy and your spouse says they want a divorce out of nowhere

Give us something. Even if it's a pile of sh*t, you guys suck email. I dunno about you guys, I still have pride in my profession but I can't look at these pax in the eye any more. Just my .02 from a drama queen

Totally agree.
I my almost 6 years here this is the least amount of communication and the most amount of RSAs I have seen from them. The first step to solve a problem is to admit there is a problem, they sure aren't doing that.

But hey let's talk about soar with reading. :(
