Management's job is to understand the environment they work in and create solutions. JB needs to get creative, develop a long term growth plan that takes this into account and not blame ATC for delays they help create. They are in the big leagues now, play and act like it!

ummm...

no its' growing pains...

Everyone needs to sacrifice to work here.

6hrs delayed the other day, 8hrs the day after doing the same flight. I can't look at these passengers any more with dignity It's really and unfair to see what the gate agents are going through.

DL and JB both have an evening departure from BUF to JFK. JB takes a delay, as does Endevour but not DL. A real inaccuracy in reporting on time if u ask me...

I think this is changing in 2018 so that DL, UA, AA, AS will need to include their regional performance in with their own. They're putting a lot more pressure on performance numbers with their regional carriers now because of it.

I love the customers who stick around to board that flight. I did a BOS-JFK leg a couple of months ago that was delayed 9 hours. A customer said, "I could have driven there by now." I thought but didn't say ("YOU COULD HAVE MADE 3 ROUND TRIPS BY CAR!!!!!!)

That's actually right out of DL's playbook. Don't cancel, just run it a day late if able.
