I agree on all counts. Most people I talk to in the lower seniority range have their apps out.

Rascal nailed it.

I get a kick out of the comments from the guys that say things about how foolish people are for not trying to go elsewhere, especially if you commute and you've been here less than three years.

How the hell do you think this whole process works? Many of us are here because after years of career fairs, soliciting letters of recommendation and updating applications, JB called. JB didn't call first. They're the only one that called.
