I commute on gogo carriers, it's nothing special. Most of the time it just sucks.
Just going out on a limb here. Not saying this is you, or that something similar happened to you. Lately on my commutes with the regionals I often encounter someone that is waiting for a class date at Delta or another company (not United). About half the time they are super cool and excited. The other half instantly throw out how much better where they are going than where I am. After further digging it usually turns out this individual applied at JB many times and was turned down or never called.
Had a Delta guy in my jump seat the other day, been there about a year. Gave me lots of career advice and what us JB pilots need to fix. Even corrected the FO on several of his radio calls. Also recruited the FO and told him he would help him get on. Turns out before this guy got his dream job at the best company ever, he didn't make it through phase 2 at ol Jetblue. It's like you wouldn't go to prom with me but the pretty girl with the bigger (parts of a chest) did, so I am going to talk crap now.
I didn't use a bad word, say anything about United, or argue with a United guy badmouthing JB. That should keep the United monitor from threatening to ban me. I think that will be my new signature.

Let me guess he didn't ask for a wind check.

The wifi is significantly slower than when Jetblue first released it. I've been told by some captains that several other airlines are now using the same satellite, hence the slow-down.
But, it's free.
