Works fine for me (for the most part). I guess people will ifnd a reason to complain for just about anything these days. Sad world...

Viasat 2 was launched a couple months ago. It will take 5-7 more months to boost into the proper orbit and complete testing.
Supposedly

Operational by the beginning of the year, it will supposedly allow WIFI over the Caribbean and will ALSO relieve a lot of the traffic from Viasat 1. It will allow TWICE the throughput of viasat1

Viasat 3 will be launched in 2018.

Delta is switching their fleet over satellite wifi. Not sure who the provider is though.

Delta already uses Satellite for over the ponds and SA. Are you saying their going to full time satellite even in the good ole USA?

I am. I was on their A320 and signed into wifi and got a message that Delta is upgrading the fleet to fast satellite wifi and this plane has been converted.

Their 2Ku leaves much to be desired - especially at the $25/per flight price point.

Still Free for T-mobile customers. The only really fast Satellite internet I have seen is on the corporate jets I've rode in.
