Living in base and being on reserve (even with our garbage-y reserve rules) is the best deal going.
For July and August combined: I spent 10 nights away from my bed. There were 17 reserve days that I didn't get called, and I blocked 57 hours.
For September/October, I expect to forget how to drive to the airport, and I'm eagerly awaiting a landing currency warning email!
