After listening to about :40 of today's call I didn't hear much mention of the pilot contract. There was significant talk about CASM going forward and their focus on controlling it. Given that, I tend to agree with the union's stance that we reached our TA at the right time.

Your “No” voters are a scary crowd.
I don’t know how you can look at the current economic environment and think you can achieve greater gains.
I expect to Big 3 to only achieve COLA increases in the next round of bargaining. Management will win this round.

JetBlue 2Qtr numbers are scary. I’d lock in a raise now.
· Costs were $1.8 billion, up 17.7%
· Operating margin was 9.1%, down from 18.9%
· Pre-tax margin was 8.2%, down from 17.7%
· Pre-tax income was $159 million, down 51.1%
· Net income was $120 million, down 41.9%
Yikes

JetBlue 2Qtr numbers are scary. I’d lock in a raise now. The Legacy carriers are strong. B6’s free ride is over.
