Southwest and Delta. What does their management do that ours doesn't?

Our guys talked about this a few years ago the “travel ribbon” but they talked....that’s it....standard and talk about customer service, but not doing anything to motivate the crewmembers. They just won’t spend the money

Many years ago, before I returned to Delta on my recall, I was sitting next to Rob Maruster during dinner at The Leading Edge. I asked him when JetBlue was going to see pilots as assets. He didn't like that question at all. Stuttered for about 20 seconds, he did, before spewing off the JetBlue talking points about values, etc. Blah, blah, blah

Delta, UAL, and AA had to learn the hard way that good relationships with your employees is worth it. Hopefully B6 figures it out BEFORE Chapter 11 and the ELT gets replaced. But I doubt it.
