So true. Why go above and beyond to help the company? If my extra hard work was repaid by the company via profit sharing (please don’t count retirement as profit sharing, what a joke) I would definitely do so much more to help out.

Correct.

But 3.60KIAS says "don't complain, just make it better in the next negotiations".

That's like telling one of the final two presidential candidates for 2020 to wait for the election results, but DON'T CAMPAIGN.

That's some BlueJet level idiocy.

He is right to the extent of we HAVE to fix it in the next contract cause this contract bent us over. What’s the likelihood of this pilot group actually fighting for more... doubtful in my opinion.

Yes, we do need to fix it in the next contract.

That's going to cost the company a lot of money. They will not write that check without a GOOD reason to do so. The company will need to FEEL the discontent before they EVER open their wallet. Not using our pilot-to-pilot means of discussing what/how/why we are unhappy about (failing to campaign) will not get us all pointed in the right direction or help the grass roots unite around the need for improvement.

Tamping down discontentment didn't help pilots during negotiations, it only served to buy the company additional time.

We need to declare a labor dispute before the 2 year mark next time.

Very incorrect information. There are MANY pilots staying who are here 2 years or less. Only 25 have left in the past year who were on property less than 2 years, while 40 who left were here over 2 years.

My reading comprehension is just fine. Your typing composition, however, needs some work. 200%?? Where? Who?

Your beef is that senior pilots are off and can pick up OT. The same with VDA & RSA. That's life at an airline. Us junior guys get the scraps. Best get used to it.

I don't need luck, but thanks for the well wishes.

Look, blueballs, you can whine on APC or you can address it with the union and fix it next go-round. Life is full of choices. Tell us all just how many of the problems we have at JB that YOU have fixed here on APC? Oh, wait, I can do that for you... zero.

As I said, choices. Complain here, or man up and make change happen. Up to you.

By all means, use APC to solidify items that need to be fixed. Lots of smart folks on here who can talk together and come up with a plan for the next contract. Increasing PS and taking that asinine 5% out of our retirement are two I'd like to see in the next CBA.

You just don't get it. You have to change the hearts and minds of the pilot group. You haven't been here to see a group of mostly "just happy to be here" non-union pilots slowly transition to where we are today.

APC and BluePilots were a big part of that transition.
