Suiting jacket, sweater, or pea coat and now a raincoat.
How about making the raincoat an approved uniform item.
We had a nice option before they took it out of the manual and supplied us with a sponge for a raincoat.
Were you here for the "cotton shortage" or the plastic blue "high tech" shirt that melted?
Where you a new hire that had to rummage through the huge pile of used (returned from pilots that quit) uniform items to find your 'new uniform'?
No? Then ****!
Now we are waiting for FLOPS because finding a raincoat is "difficult". Which is jetblue speak for we are not going to find one, but we thought you would like to know that we are looking at it. That is all we do. Is look at it.
Uniforms at Jetblue has been a disaster since 2008 and RTP.
Do you need that defined for ya!
Yes? Then ****!

I have this new space age technology, few know about. It’s called the umbrella. Fits securely in the side pocket of my roll aboard. Comes with me on every trip! Even with my suiting jacket ! (Who brings a suiting jacket and pea coat anyway?)

No one! That is the point. When the forecast is rain pack the raincoat.
Oh, we don't have one that is not a sponge.
So the TMAAT crowd promotes: Bring your own and only wear it during walkarounds or an umbrella is the same thing as a raincoat as opposed to in addition to the raincoat that is not a sponge.
How about the company fixes the issue instead of pilots find their best TMAAT when the company did not provide a proper raincoat. What did you do?

Wait you don’t have the answer for something?...........
Lol talk about the perfect set up.
Only kidding blue, yes I would love to see a PS change, I’d love to see us all going in the same direction but right now obviously they decided it’s not worth it so you know how it will go.
I’m sure you saw my post of what one of the higher ups said about investing in the operation. Basically in my opinion we are going to see another time like that winter where the airline will just shut down for the day to try to reset. Now that amazes me because that’s not how I or you or most likely anyone would run things but I swear they are determined to make it all fall apart. Now here is the kicker if we do this over and over this summer, if you think people don’t care now just wait till August. And in what November they will again announce no PS for you and morale will sink even lower. But you know what I don’t think they care, profit (which they won’t share) and cost, that’s it.
Meanwhile Delta who can’t grow much more due to lack of space in Bos will definitely be getting some of our customers because they actually try to run an airline. Now no doubt they have issues but it seems from the outside they will spend the money to try to fix it. JetBlue will just hope employee and passenger good will, will get them through again while they give each other bonuses.
The sad part is you have employees here who I do think care about the “airline” and what we want it to be but management is just going the opposite way.

But profit sharing is the 1st and best starting point. Imagine a David vs. Goliath situation where David doesn't much care if he wins.... That's BlueJet Bluemembers these days who mostly seem to care .002.
Just my opinion.
You keep mentioning that DL can only grow so much more. Even if true, which I tend to agree, that means DL will have around 150 FPD and JB maybe 200ish FPD. Plus all the other airlines. That is a very fractured hub that will NEVER be a fortress hub (and yes, JB route planning executives have stated their desire to approach high levels of BOS market share) and will be a split market. BOS is not NYC and I doubt it's large enough for two large airlines to have *great* margins...
Probably can support DL and JB coexisting, but with *subdued* margins for both. And the highest revenue customers and contracts might eventually be attracted to the global network, OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE, 1st class and lounges.
All just my opinion.

I've never claimed to have all the answers, not sure how it was a set-up...

It is true btw there is only so much room unless you build a new terminal. What they could do is replace most of the RJs with mainline but I’m not sure I see that happening. We will also slowly swap out the 100 seat 190s which make up the bulk of Boston with larger planes as well as I think 3 to 4 more gates. Should be able to do over 200. You are correct it won’t ever be a super hub and Bos never has had a totally dominant carrier. It’s one of our problems which we agree we just don’t have that type of hub. But if we can do well in FLL with SWA and Spirt who I think have a lower casm (both of them vs us) we should be ok vs Delta. Will it be as much as before probably not but I think JetBlue knew it was coming. That’s why the focused on Bos vs LGB or the west or MCO. It was grow FLL and BOS before others do. We fly to ORH, not because we want to. I think we are the sponsor of every Bos team, I actually think JetBlue has done well establishing themselves there. But yes I agree about the operation and it concerns me.

Man do you read what you post? It was really just a joke, I know not everyone gets my sarcasm. But yes respectfully you do come off as I have the answers as I’m sure most of us do on here. That’s all. Now don’t go posting and than say “but I have all the answers” or make it into another # tag line we have been there done that.

Do you also need me to explain why objects on the Earth's surface don't float away into space? Why you get all wet when you jump into a lake? Why it's light during the day and dark at night? Why it hurts when you hit your thumb with a hammer?
Which other incredibly complex subjects do you need explained to you?
