Most guys use the ship set. If you do use your own headset, make sure you plug in the ship set again after you are done!

There's worrying about germs and then theres literally having your mouth on an object that thousands of other dudes have had theirs on (phrasing?).
I've never used a shipset in any A/C I've flown because it's disgusting. It's one thing to have to grab levers, control wheels/push buttons, but having a mic up to you lips that other guys just coughed, sneezed or did whatever on is beyond gross.

Seat forward, vents open, shades up, headsets plugged in, trash removed. Surprised your captains don’t say anything to you about it.

A-hole move. Even as a guy who brought my own for a while, and occasionally still do, I get pi$$ed when guys are too lazy to leave the plane how you found it (or how it’s supposed to be).

What’s the captain gonna say, plug your headsets back in? I have no problem if he wants to do it but I won’t be. My job is the fcom, fom and that blue employee book thing. Plugging the ship set back in isn’t outlined in either of those, is it?
