I’m not defending the actions. However, I think they're much better things to waste grieving time on versus an award that violated section 7.B.1.a which seems to be fixed.
15. Vacation Cancellation/Postponement

It's yellow. Not sure it should have been and if it is not active then there is no provision for the company to cancel an awarded vacation in the FSM or anywhere else.

As far as a waste of time. All I have seen is the company wasting time and kicking even the simplest dispute all the way through to the system board. Not for any good reason other than sport and to clog the system so that resolutions have to be made at the next system board and then next.

You talk of fairness but that is a weakness at this place. Values are a strength in the real-world but are an opportunity in the bizarro world of BlueJet.

I’m tired of it.
How long was the award out for? (I didn't even see it.).

It's probably hard to believe since we're all perfect pilots that maybe somebody in crew planning isn't as perfect as us.

About an hour.

Don't expect perfections. But they put the award out 3 days early. You'd figure they'd have some kind of quality control and someone double/triple checking to make sure it was run correctly. Someone obviously brought it to their attention right after the award was posted because it wasn't long after they rescinded it.

The Dependability Policy was sent out as a mistake too.

So many company apologists have come out to defend yet another extralegal measure by B6.

Until these guys mature a bit, JB pilots will be doomed to a career of mediocrity while pilots at other airlines who have some self-worth continue to make huge improvements in QOL.

It’s crazy cause the same ones who are defending the company will def pick up over Xmas and make extra dough when these grievances play out

Lol. Clear ALPA also feels like the company did the right thing... and agree that they original award violated 7.B.1.a, like I said... no mention on grieving anything from ALPA...

What is a better CYA. It violates seniority so it’s not valid or we told the pilot group to vote for a contract with a implantation plan that gave us no rights to dispute the cancellation.
