I don’t know coolhand there is a large difference between instant gratification and what “could be” a year.

Especially after having to deal with GIS as a company. I found dealing with them rather off putting, and felt that it didn't reflect well on JetBlue for utilizing them. Best thing JB could do is to bring the background verification process in house IMHO.

Couldn't agree more. But I imagine it is a cost issue. GIS seems like the best example of the lowest bidder wins the contract. I talked to a few folks there who sounded like they personally cared about trying to help me but I got the feeling that maybe the system they are working within is so inefficient they are stuck. GIS would do well as a federal government contractor!
