Within the last 2 new hire classes there was a new hire that canceled morning of to go to Delta, and then while on the 10 day break after indoc another new hire left to go to southwest.

Yeah. Most who go to a legacy/SWA during the long hiring wait at JB would likely leave anyway in the first 3 years at JB. So I don’t think jetblue sees it as a huge loss. Just my opinion though

There is a 10 day break after indoc? Is that before starting aircraft specific training? How long is indoc?

Just depends on the training layout and availability. I had no real breaks. One or two days off every 4-5 days. The class before me had guys with like a 2 week and a 4 week break.
