But for everyone saying the MEC did a poor job of speaking for them (and this isn't making any excuses for the contract), keep in mind there were pilots undermining the MEC by NOT following their guidance and negotiating in public by filling out Speak Up surveys or participating in polls like this one. One of the MEC's biggest roadblocks was the pilot group itself. That needs to change next time around, but based on a few of the regular posters here I'm not holding my breath.

However, the opposite rule does not apply. You need not ever make a critical post, all fluffers are just fine.
Please remember these rules if you want to get guys to raise their expectations above Spirit/Frontier/Just-happy-to-be-B6/This-jets-so-cool.

I hated flying as a Captain on Reserve. Nothing is going to change with this pilot group. Take a look at the numbers and names of the guys on VDA EVERYDAY! I see the same guys DH in my flights on obvious return segments from their VDA payday. So, yeah that’s not going to stop when we negotiate CBA 2.0. They need the cash. JetBlue needs the labor. Symbiotic.
I taxied safely, 2 engine and made the appropriate logbook entries during the negotiations. I would get lapped and yelled at by other brethren asking what I was doing? I was losing. We all lost. So what’s the point? Ah, JetBlue wins again. Poll away. Who cares.

That’s an incorrect assessment. This is a poll in which you can only select one answer. And anybody, including non-Jetblue pilots, can answer.
I’d venture to say most jetblue pilots want improvements in all areas, including medical.

Funny, I've been here a few years and have met almost zero cynicism on the road with the guys I fly with, yet the same half dozen or so people on here and BP love to scream that the world is falling day after day and all of us are terrible people and pilots.
Everyone except 2 guys, I'd gladly fly with again any day of the week.
