Someone estimated it would cost the company 300-400 million to shutdown the operation for 60 days. JB has $1.2 billion in cash plus a $1 billion government loan. Unless we’re shutdown for six months or more, I’m hoping between the cash on hand, loan, historically lean staffing levels that we’ll make it through without furloughing.

Wow, i was way off. (Best Lloyd Christmas impression).
Still, though, a lot of junior people on the bus.

In reality it doesn’t really matter. There will be 12 year Airbus Captains who cannot afford to take the reduced line and first year FO’s who can.

Fixed it for you. They had $1.2b at the beginning of this mess.

Meh, not all that far. Had I not looked, I wouldn't have thought you were wrong based on the class drops thread. Hell, I posted online data that was three hours old, only to have totally different info shown a few minutes later. Things are changing fast. Chin up and best of luck to all of us through this mess.

The $1 billion isn't a government loan, just a private loan the company took out.

The government loans/grants haven't happened yet but they will.

You serious Clark?

You mean how long did it take during the last zombie apocalypse to release the awards?

Would this be a good time to go get the new iPad? I'm still rocking the old one.
