we did what we had to do when we needed to do it, but don’t assume just because we flew the Whale during the Dark Decade we were rolling bank.
At Spirit, I made more money as a second year FO than I did as a third year Captain flying 747s into combat zones. And that was on the old contract.
Not all of us were able to walk into high six-figure jobs a year or two out of flight school. Most of us had to shovel s#it for a decade or more first.

Dude, wake the fawk up. Outside of the legacies, bigger airplanes don’t equate to bigger paychecks.
