Same. Been using my own headset for many years and have always been grossed out by ship sets.

Also for you guys using the hand mic, you don't have to put your mouth on it like I see so many guys doing. You can hold it away from you lips and it'll still pickup your voice FYI...

Thats just science. marine mammals are able to speak miles apart.
