Default White House briefing Doc says quarantine?

So the doc at the WH briefing says anyone that’s visited NYC in the last couple days should self quarantine for 14 days. What’s that, nearly half the airline? Just send me the check here in Texas.

It’s the hermetically sealed cockpit in combination with your Apollo era spacesuit that renders you germ free, unlike the passengers which are subject to quarantine.

At my airline, if you want your 14 days of quarantine, after having operated to xxx, then you just tell the company, and they leave you at home for 14 days. We've had 3-4 pilots stuck in a 14 day mandatory quarantine overseas so far, because of the rapidly changing requirements around the world...

Are self-quarantines just as a precaution pay protected at your airline or just Covid related cases and mandatory quarantines? LOA 8 at Jetblue basically pay protects any Covid-19 related issues. Just curious since LOA’s at other airlines aren’t really public.
