See you in 14 days.
LOA 8:

Is there a difference between “directed” and “urged”??
The WH is asking or urging people to self-quarantine, they aren’t expressly directing it.
Thoughts??

I think you're correct, the details are important. Urged to me doesn't equal 'directed'.

Our LOA is a joke. So if I feel tired, or have mild symptoms and I believe it’s in my best interest to protect myself and others to quarantine I’m not pay protected. Unless symptoms are more severe I don’t even believe you can get tested, and even then you don’t get pay protected unless you prove you have the virus? Been doing nothing but turns and layovers through JFK and deadheading all over the place, only a matter of time for most of us to get this thing.

We probably have 100 pilots a day on scr at Jfk. So they either commute in from home or the pad, fly around the country, go back home or to the pad. Rinse, repeat. But we are super pilots, and essential so you just keep coming to the coal mine. I am the vector, victor.

4 day trip. 3 different FOs, all coughing, wheezing, throat clearing, nasal drip. Awesome. I’m not a doctor but they seemed sick to me. I straight up asked them... are you fit to fly? Yeah, yeah fine. But when you offer a first year pay guy 200% what did we expect?

A first year pay guy is not senior enough to be picking up 200%.

People just aren’t getting tested unless they have severe symptoms so even if I did have the virus no one is getting pay protected for proactively calling out should they deem necessary.
