No, we aren’t supposed to be able to see OT in Crewtrac any longer but I’ve heard 2nd hand of guys who can still do it. It is a matter of having the right permissions in Crewtrac. Obviously someone like a CP or probably a CKA can see it. If someone had a close connection with Crew Services then I’m sure they could turn it on for you...
hide trips and drop them in at their convenience or they hide them and call some of their “go to” pilots to give them the trip... |

It’s possible they dropped most their schedule and put VDA on their schedule.

It's upsetting I know but it could go real bad real fast and then we are backed into a corner.
If the second spike is worse than the first, then people will avoid flying anyways. The slowdown in cases is just because we are in lockdown. Its a false sense of security. The goal has been achieved of not overwhelming the healthcare system beyond capacity, as was seen in Italy. Opening up could have have a range between bad-horrific if the infrastructure isnt there. If we keep the shutdown until a vaccine is developed, it'll be MadMax. Testing and antibody testing needs to increase 10 fold or more to do this properly. We are getting there despite what the media says. But not yet still. Being able to test people before they do certain activities with near instant results is the only way out of this before we get a vaccine, which could take years and may not work like we think it will. This is all about consumer confidence. We could gamble, open stuff up, overwhelm the health care system have a LARGE peak after the economic turmoil we have already had. This will back us into a corner with no way out except to shutdown everything again even more drastically. One way is to wait until the hospitals are back to somewhat normal so the resultant increase in cases, once we open, has room to expand. When you have testing capability and room in your hospitals this gives you options. You dont shoot that third approach down to mins if you wont have enough gas to bug out if you dont get in. https://medium.com/@tomaspueyo/coron...e-be9337092b56 NYC is obviously the outlier but for most of the country this is an overreaction. Will we shut it down every flu season? How about mandatory hibernation for the whole country from December through March. This is insane and will be looked back upon as such. We are headed for a Depression- For 50-80K deaths? Not worth it. Double it- still not worth it. Btw, make sure you count the sickness and death that stems from this road to poverty that we have begun. |

What's upsetting is that some states have empty hospitals and businesses going bankrupt for no reason. This over-abundance of fear is doing more damage, in some states, than the virus could ever do. Thats just looking at the present numbers.

Just heard on the radio today that NY was adding nearly 4000 deaths to their Covid death toll even though none of them tested positive for the virus; they were just presumed to have the virus. Whatever the fuq that means. PA just had to retract 200 deaths for their Covid death toll...‘tallied’ incorrectly. It’s pretty clear there’s an agenda to manipulate the numbers.

Please explain this? To make 1.2 mill you would have to credit 378.78 hours every single month. Do people just believe everything that is said or do they at least try to fact check a little.
12 year Capt. 264/hr 1,200,000 / 264 = 4,545.45 4,545.45 / 12 = 378.78 A recently retired 190 CA showed me their paystub for one month last summer. 65k on the 8th. If you worked here last year. This is very simple. senior, drop schedule and put VDA on your schedule. Wait for the phone call. Your math should read like this. 12 year Capt. 264/hr * 190% = 501.60 1,200,000 / 501 = 2395.20 2395.20 / 12 = 199.60 Its pretty easy to do this when your doing your days at double time. Or maybe even triple time because you got something bought of your schedule. The people that are doing this literally have no life and only brag about working all the time and how much credit they have. I wish I made 1.2 million. However there is only so many times I can sleep in a hotel a year. |
