They’ve had two weeks to address this huge hole in LOA 13 and this is the best they can come up with: They admit the hole is there... and they have no plan to address it.

Surrender our Scope to get through COVID, and then spend the next decade playing damage control? That’s not a valid plan.

They need to learn to multitask. Don’t sacrifice our long term CBA for short term gains. Protect us now and in the long term.
This is the exact part I pointed out to Felt when he asked why I’m more solidified on my no vote. And then it’s capped off by telling us this huge gap in protection is offset by our big raise 🤦🏼

New MEC email sent out.
Take it as you will, but personally, it sounded to me as desperate.

Can they see the tally prior to vote closing? Maybe they see the direction this is going in.

A new update? Good. When I didn't see any updates yesterday I feared the worst.

good question. Not sure about the answer.

just based on general pilot sentiment it isn’t looking good for LOA 13 to pass

No they can’t. Not until the moment the vote closes.

I gotta say, I’m getting really tired of the sell job. I really don’t care about his personal feelings about the TA. Just give me the facts, answer questions, and let me decide how to vote.

The sell job he’s doing doesn’t seem about the TA anymore, it seems more about why he should be kept in office.

That’s one of my biggest issues with ALPA, and I’ve expressed this in PDR’s. Let the MEC/LEC vote on the TA/LOA, then give me the facts for it and also against it ... objectively. Don’t give me a 24/7 sell job. I’m pretty sure ALPA has some smart people on pay roll (which we pay for). So get them in a giant room, write on a board in giant letters POTENTIAL NEGATIVES + NEGATIVE OUTCOMES and let them
spit ball....then send those notes
to the members along with all the constant sunshine and unicorn rainbows that will get.
