Just because ALPA had all those people say it’s a good deal doesn’t make it so. The regional ALPA carriers also have all the same national assets (lawyers, E&FA, etc) available during their negotiations, then they always seem to say “this is the best deal we could get, there’s nothing left we could get from the company, etc,” even when the TA they present is garbage. And they point, just like you’re doing, to all the same “smartest people possible” who were in the room and helped the deal. They also always say “this isn’t the first deal, we went back and forth for a while!” It’s always the same story and the same lines. Like clockwork. And again, delta TA2015: $1mil sell job, former ALPA national president, most of the MEC/LEC at DALPA, E&FA, all said that failed TA was the absolute best possible. It gets shot down and, surprise!!....they were all wrong.

Send this POS back. MEC (at a minimum CK) needs to resign or be recalled for giving this direction to the NC (which may unfortunately require 12 LEC recalls first). Try again.

yeah, kinda amazing that people would be emotional about their careers....

relaxing scope to me is like socialism. It has been proven to never work, so why even entertain the thought.

No pilot group (as a whole) has ever benefited from relaxing any form of scope.

I’m going to try my best to stop anything that is going to gut the scope of the airline I work at for over 10 years. I’ll fight like hell to keep that from happening.

Insults aren’t gonna sway anyone’s votes. Heck reason and facts probably won’t sway it either. Can’t you see he doesn’t want to get it he just wants to vote yes. That’s his opinion. The car dealership is a great example, although it could have been better if the salesman would have said oh and because the deal is so hot there’s no warranty on it. But trust me, the car will run years! You don’t buy a car without a warranty, why should we vote in a deal without one when it can affect 12 years of our careers.
