Default Yes voters. Honest question.

When you go to a car dealership are you the type that just pays the sticker price? or accept the first offer from the dealer?? or even when the salesman comes to you and says... "we have two others customers that really want this car..this is the best my boss is going to do!!!!

This is EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW !!!!!
read the e-mails from the company and listen to what they are saying in the pocket sessions.
All i'm asking everyone to do is open your eyes just a little. Look around at the industry for a sec.
Southwest has said no furloughs, Spirit is going to be hiring soon. Frontier already is!!!
Why give up something you will never get back??
There isn't one single pilot group in history that gave relief on any form of scope that didn't later regret it!!!

Please think this one through.

I voted yes. I've been honest and open about that. Not trying to change anyone's mind.

I believe this is a great thing for Jetblue Pilots and Jetblue as a company. I view it as a win for both of us, and will result in a better life for me and my family. I think it will be better for you too, but I understand if you don't agree.

Frankly, The only people who should be recalled is the comms people. They released the most uninformative, confusing and fear inducing Q&A. They have been playing catchup ever since. Now, when releasing more info, it comes across as a sell job. Fire the comms guys-- but don't think its a bad deal since Comms is playing catchup

Hey man I respect your honesty I really really do..

Let me say this. Do you know why you feel it is coming across as a "sell job" from the comms guys??/

IT IS A SELL JOB!!!!! Even you see it yourself. Trust your gut on that... I believe we can come to a good deal for both us and the company ... but this just isn't it.

I didn't add this in the above email, but thanks for your constructive comment and question.

As a no voter (and to all no voters) I hope you don't hear "giving up scope" and start picking up pitchforks. I hope you all (JFK folks) read Rocky's email. We are granting relief on a small scope section for a limited amount of time.

Also, I agree we wont furlough. I don't worry about us furloughing one bit. I think this will cause us to grow at a more rapid pace and that is good for Jetblue pilots.

I've read his e-mail... (7 years is not a "limited time btw)

Let me ask you this.. What are we gaining??

I think it comes across as a sell job because it was released with poorly answered and confusing Q&A . Think about this-- you probably wouldn't feel it was a sell job (or as much as one) if these emails-- these Q&A's were released with the LOA vs email blasts every 12 hours.

Just curious, how long have you been here?? The reason i ask is every time we went to vote in the union. The company would use the same playbook as they are right now.

Fear and scare tactics.... Everything from Dave selling the company to no more pizza parties and everything in between.

That is very funny. Dave is a great guy when not in the office. Trying to be honest while not "outing" myself. I'm about halfway up the seniority list.

Believe it or not, I'm ignoring the company stuff. I didn't attend the "meeting" today. I'm squarely focused on the union. I read everything the union puts out, and rectify that with the LOA language. I'm a pro-union guy and wear my lanyard all the time.

Look... you are welcome to disagree with me. That's cool. I understand and respect that, but you are about as likely to change my mind as I am to change your mind.

Are you saying no more Mr. Softee? No more bad wedding buffets at Thanksgiving (take only one portion please)? No more level 1 Lift awards?

We aren’t giving up scope, we are only giving the specific scope the company asked us to give up.

You can’t make this up.
