I am currently at an AA WO and could upgrade at any point. 4ish years to flow. I live within 2.5 hours of BOS. I have a class date with B6 for August. The pay increase I will make good money until flow (then $150k bonus to flow) if I stay, about $150k/year at minimum over the next 4 years at the WO. Do I stay commuting (which isn’t too terrible) and flow- then bid for the AA BOS base asap or go to B6 and spend my career there?
More importantly, banking on flow that is 4 years away is not smart IMO. This industry is far too volatile for that.
