737/BOS. I don’t think it’s that big. Probably similar to how JBU focuses on Orlando. 2.5 hour drive to BOS is kinda tough to call that as living in base though or an easy drive.

Do I stay commuting (which isn’t too terrible) and flow- then bid for the AA BOS base asap or go to B6 and spend my career there?
Keep in mind the pay “supplement” expires in 2 years and it has to be renewed so don’t count on it further than that. I would get out of the regionals ASAP- don’t want to be stuck there when the musical chairs stop. You could always leave b6 if a legacy calls.

More importantly, banking on flow that is 4 years away is not smart IMO. This industry is far too volatile for that.

*Puts in a swap, swapping a four day for two two days over the same footprint.*

CS: Denied

I call, “You cannot swap four day trips for anything other than four or five day trips.”
“Yes, you can, as long there is a reserve coverage for LCR4, and in this case it supports it.”
CS, “No, you can’t, it will be denied every time.”

Good luck. Not only do the pairings suck more than ever, the company refuses to use the ALPA set, we also have incompetent schedulers who appear to enjoy misinterpreting their own rules.

Yep, absolutely brutal. Absolute must fix in the next CBA. Should have been fixed in one of the LOAs already.

Did you know that before you have to “work” for JetBlue that we need a joint CBA first? Also ask any blue pilot and they know this system sucks especially how the company does stuff. So relax bud.
