I was NEVER arguing or taking issue with what you said. I was agreeing with you, taking issue with the company and the union.
The disconnect was the added phrase "in an IROP". I didn't see IROP mentioned in the CL or union email. So I was only referring to the normal commute policy.

I too was very disappointed with the unions reply, it should’ve simply restated the commuter policy and mention bottom line, if you have a positive space ticket arriving 1 hour or more prior you have fulfilled all requirements of section 18 (irop or not) and any resulting miscommutes will be excluded from triggering a dependability review or discipline as was agreed to by mgt contractually in the CBA. So go book ur S1 tickets early and often because you never know when we will go into a level 1 knowing you’re protected either way. The union com fell far short of that.
