Don't mean to be a Richard, but they have the order book they want, or they would have changed it. At the very least, worst case, they would place an order for deliveries later than they want, and ask to be put on the list for move-ups in case another airline cancelled. If they haven't done that, then they have the order book they want.

LOL, keep dreaming ! You will be going deep south, no money in Hawaii with southwest already there. Time to update your apps, B6 was never going to be a legacy.

B6 is never going to be a legacy because B6 didn’t conduct interstate travel prior to deregulation, which is the definition of “legacy.” If you mean full service or network/global carrier as opposed to a LCC or domestic carrier, sure, if that’s what you want to believe.

I wouldn’t say that necessarily. I was thinking the opposite. Now they would have their own domestic feed to get people on their metal from St. Louis, Detroit, (insert Midwest city) and get them to Boston or NY and connect to Europe. Our CEO wants to expand into Europe. If this did get approved, I could see the DOJ shutting down the AA join venture. Maybe JB was hedging their bet? Who knows

Don’t forget g4. They just have to transition to a full 737 fleet and sell off the Airbus fleet to anyone who’s buying.
