Again, negotiation. There was none. The BOD could have come back to JB and driven that price up to let’s say 35 (possibly more). They refused to even negotiate. That’s the part that doesn’t make any sense and should frustrate any shareholder. I certainly would be upset.

As for Spirit bases, last time I checked Spirit had a base in DTW, and was opening ATL??? I haven't looked for a couple days, but does Delta still have an ATL operation?

And if you look at JB's infographic on the combined Spirit+JB network it shows a doubling of flights in LAX. While LAX isn't a Spirit crew base, it does offer a doubling of JB's footprint in LAX, which is a base for both JB and Delta...

Bright enough to recognize that condescending remarks and unwarranted personal attacks are probably just a projection of massive insecurities, or a manifestation of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, but not quite bright enough to figure out which one you suffer from. But by all means, please carry on with telling us more about how you are the indisputable expert on everything.

I've seen a lot of misinformation about what the NEA is and is not.

Have you read neaflies.com?

It's a little long, but I thought very informative.

In addition, I've seen no evidence whatsoever of JB going easy on AA outside of the NEA, to the contrary in fact.

They said drop your NEA. JetBlue said no. Negotiations over. Doesn’t the DOJ have an issue with that ? And some people think a recession is imminent. If $33 is such an amazing premium And a recession is imminent .. then If I was a JetBlue shareholder Id be concerned the company is overpaying for an airline prior to a recession.
