Now this is one post of yours I agree with.

No idea how Spirt can even think no cost in labor increase for five years and making that public is remotely smart. Has stupid all over it.

No way does the company survive two years of uncertainty - not in this environment. If a new CBA or JCBA isn’t done fairly quickly NK will collapse from inability to recruit and. junior people jumping to better opportunities forcing aircraft deferrals and even more attrition - perhaps even downgrades - that will make even moderately senior CAs (at least the young ones) find another home, causing the death spiral to accelerate.

Dragging this out may prove in the best interest of B6 and F9 in that it takes out a competitor but it will be ruinous for stockholders and employees that stay.

Precisely this ^^^^

Nk get stuck in regulatory/litigation hell for 18-24 months, not being able to execute its growth initiatives, and long term strategic plans it’ll severely damage spirit. One article mentioned a ‘Brain drain.’ Hard enough to recruit as it is, but certainly who’s gonna come to a company who’s future is up in the air? In the end if the deal falls apart, . Either from a financing standpoint or regulatory approval issue, Robin says ‘here’s your 200 Millon sorry it didn’t workout … ‘ a mere pittance to kneecap a competitor.. but he’s doing it all in the shareholders best interest .. no really .. if if passes in 2 years here’s your $30… if it doesn’t, so sorry . Well, if the deal was done today f9 , you’d get 1.9 shares for each share you have ( approx $17.50) plus $2 per share in cash which you won’t get till completion in 2 years. I’m dying to know how that’s a better deal. Let’s say it is…. How’s the JCBA going go to be?

JetBlue is an all around better deal.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Robin doesn’t approach SPA with some sort of side letter. Bringing their pay to current B6 rates by a certain date for their support.

I wouldn’t be surprised if every airline is bankrupt in one year if this monkey pox starts shutting down the global economy. Round 2 here we go.
Damn dirty apes!
