In the school house for recurrent training at Hawaiian. Rumor they are saying is they have been thinking about putting in a bid for Spirit for a long time to grow inside the main land. Now seriously considering putting in a bid the only thing is they don’t wanna overpay because the the other airlines that put in an offer already. will just see what really happens.

AS+HA is making more sense as the next step assuming B6+NK happens. Then G4+F9 as the final play in this round?

Does it really even need to make sense. I mean look what we’re dealing with here—JetBlue and Spirit? Not that this merger is really going to go through...

Come on man. Use your little head for a minute. What substance is universally yellow and still has that Spirit flavor?

UrineBlue Airways.

Momma didn't pay for me to get half an off campus MBA from Riddle for nothing.

I still like “Blueit”.

Almost as good as “Fearit”

Seriously? Compared to United/Continental, USAirways/America West, American/US Airways? Those mergers had orders of magnitude more overlap than B6/NK.
There may be minimal divestitures in MCO and FLL, but that's about all I see. Where is it that you see divestitures required?

Additionally, I’m baffled by some who think the small carriers must now be sentenced to a state of perpetual disadvantage because they didn’t merge early enough like the Big four.

Knowing AS, they would buy HA and then park all the airbuses to be replaced by MAXs, codeshare the heavy flying, close HNL and make everyone commute to SEA. Then we can gain nothing and continue losing to SWA
