He didn’t say which 9/11. Maybe he meant 9/11/1995…

Really the last, or second to last leg. I'm toast after a redeye for a few days. What kills me is they love to stick 4am wake ups the next day. How are we not having fatigue calls all over the place? These pairings are dangerous and the union has been very quiet. They need to be foot stomping fatigue calls at the very least or doing informational picketing like DALPA did.

Its honestly due to the Fatigue Committee Chair, SK. IMO he needs to be pulled. I’ve had conversations with him, and he comes across as a management shill. He routinely said, “Well, it’s legal.” As if legal makes it not fatiguing.
And more pilots need to actually call in fatigued.

You’re 100% correct on this PC. He needs to go. I thought the previous fatigue committee was way more understanding and much quicker to approve fatigue calls.

swing and a miss….

I have done red eye turns at Spirit. Next time I would suggest you clarify so you don’t sound so flagrant.

Can’t you guys submit informational fatigue reports? These identify fatiguing pairings even if you didn’t call on fatigued. ASAPs should be considered as well if your fatigue committee is not playing ball.

I’ve done 7 FLL-SAP redeye turns in the last 2 months. Lol. Tell that to the Vegas guys.

I've called out multiple times, but I have the feeling I'm a squeaky wheel, so I'm easy to ignore and risk being highlighted. The guys I fly with agree that the pairing is terrible. They just shrug their shoulders and fly tired (although they won't admit it). Apathy and battered wives syndrome runs deep at Jetblue.

Lord over the smaller carriers? Dude you’ve got some internal stuff to work out. Inferiority complex or something. I’m simply comparing hard numbers with respect to our contracts. And guess what, after an analysis, I’d take AA current CBA over B6. Even if we didn’t have wide bodies or retirements. And thanks for the well wishes with respect to our ongoing negotiations. We’ll do our best to lead the industry into a new and improved standard with respect to pilot compensation.

And please don’t talk about the last 100 years. Your airline didn’t even exist on 9/11 so you have no idea how B6 would’ve weathered the last 100 years of history.

jetBlue started flying in Feb 2000, just fyi.
