Training footprint
#21
Look into renting a car. I just finished 220 transition, my Captain and I split a car and it cost us each about 600$. It probably saved us 2 days travel. We both thought about driving or doing the drive to the car train from the BOS area. We saved money and time by renting.

I have to go to a wedding probably around the time I should be starting IOE. How accommodating are they to personal requests like this one?

They will give you 3 days pretty much automatically. More than that will require a visit to the CPO. IOE wait times are running from 2-3 weeks (E190) to 6 weeks (A320). Not sure whats happening on the 220. I don't think that there is much new training on that fleet due to delivery delays.
