Covid Medical/Religious Exemption
Question for current line pilots at JetBlue: What is the process to apply for a medical or religious exemption from the Covid vaccine mandate at JetBlue? How stringent is the process to get an exemption from the current mandate in place?

As a new hire or current pilot? When I got hired they required atleast one jab. Don’t think anyone hired didn’t have any.

I don’t think the company ever came back with approvals or denials for medical/religious exemptions filed by the 500 pilots already on property. When JetBlue lifted the mask mandate months ago, they said anyone who filed an exemption and still hadn't gotten the jab would still be required to mask up on airport property.

All quietly forgotten in the hopes of being memory holed in contrast to just officially reversing course or clearly restating the policy. Instead let the obsolete former policy stand and blatantly not enforce it. Pretty much mirrors what happens these days on a variety of issue in our society in general.

Are we still requiring the vax to get hired here?? Crazy it that's still the current policy. I applied for an exemption and still haven't heard anything about that and it's obvious why at this point. I can't believe we would turn away applicants at this point because of their choice to not take a vaccine that does nothing at this point. Stupid.
