I was hesitant to post this before since several airlines in the group don't have TAs and I didn't want to muddy the waters. However, this graph clearly illustrates exactly what you're saying. Based on the *current* available data, you can see there's no snapping to be had because the existing scales weigh it down considerably -- this does include the new AS and DL numbers and assumes a DL DOS of 1 Jan 23 for simplicity. Of course it can it change if all these other airlines get new pay scales, but everyone should consider what their negotiation timelines look like.

And just in case you think the above graph is simply showing we'll be getting paid more than everyone else, you should go back a few pages and check out all the charts I posted here. You can see on the B6 vs Delta chart (below and in the link) that our projected scales are behind their TA. Then if you look at my post above, you can see those same blue B6 lines and where they fall against this group average. In other words, the Delta TA cannot mathematically pull up the average of the group significantly to allow any snap up for us, and while we would be getting paid more than the average pay scales, it's still less than Delta. Until there are more TAs in line with Delta pulling up the average, we'll be stuck in the middle with no snap up.

Reposting the Delta comparison for convenience, but definitely go look at the other charts too.

Thanks for posting. I was a No already but this really shows that the “snap-up” is useless.

How would you banned but someone else that uses profanity constantly and insults his colleagues doesn’t? I’m not saying anyone should be banned.

Exactly.......

I don't care much, I actually think the place is the Twilight Zone, but it's a huge double-standard.

yes we will basically codify average and leave PS on the table.

On a simplistic level I’d be satisfied with no PS if we we had the highest rate (by a fairly good margin), or PS with industry average rates. This TA has neither. It’s all about comparing the total avg compensation to our peers. There comparing rates (as is) is really comparing apples and oranges which makes the snap up concept (again as is) even more disappointing.

really great stuff thanks . this is what the union needs to show us at the road shows. I would love for them to say, "we did all we could in negotiations. it's up to the pilot group now. voting no tells the company that the union worked hard but the company didn't do enough."
