Our ADG@0100 would be worth something if there wasn't a MASSIVE carve out for redeye turns, I've gotten it like 3 times in my life. Oh, and don't forget the fact that DAL has a higher guarantee and I believe its per day not average. (i.e. It is worth WAAAAY more $$$).

What reserve reassignment protections are you referring to? Our reserve system absolutely blows in most ways. Maybe you have cherry picked a subsection? We USED to get premium if a reserve was reassigned, that was given away in CBA 1.0

Are you comparing it to your last regional/135 outfit?

Edit: Just looked DAL is ADG 5:15 vs our 5. It triggers at 0200 with no carve out for redeye turns. That carve out KILLS us.

The ADG and EPS definitely favors the senior pilot that bid day turns, but I wouldn’t call it worthless.

We definitely gave res eps away but I don’t bid reserve to make $$. I bid it to stay home and lcr has generally been good to me (*when manning is reasonable and/or during slow months*). I’m surprised more commuters don’t do it. You have to know how to bid and know the rules (or get steamrolled by CS).

Terms of service have rescued me more than once (on reserve and otherwise). Having said this there's definitely improvements to be had and I’m not overly familiar with big six reserve systems.

/Rant Start/

NK drops to 0 but the following month frantically becomes company man to make 200% to make in due for their month with their mail in bride.

not a JCBA dealbreaker

So a month off of work and then ability to make two months of pay the next month is a company man?

It's not completely worthless obviously, but its no where near "above industry average". Imagine how much people would be making if redeye turns were worth 10:30.... and you still triggered another day at 02:00 when there is a meltdown.

We are the only airline that has this carve out. Its industry lagging, like everything else here once you put it into context.

Dude, you and I both know JB pilots get more culture coupons than anyone else. Stop pretending otherwise.

Does anyone know how the TA Roadshow works? The one in JFK is 10am to 4pm. Is there a specific time for a presentation? Or do you just wander in at any time? Thx!

I went to the one in BOS on the 3rd. The presentation lasts about an hour and a half. We took a break and everyone grabbed the provided lunch, came back to the conference room and they opened the floor for Q & A. I stayed about an hour before leaving to fly. Overall, it was a well conducted event. There were some really good questions asked and the answers were clear.

Sorry if you guys are answering this the for 100th time. When does the voting on your TA close? Spirit is in a few days and Delta I don’t know about either.

At SWA the Strike Vote drum is starting to beat harder and harder, so that’s where we are.
