I can't speak for DTW but we have several pilots under age 60 in the Florida bases with pre '99 hire dates

DTW retirements over the next 4 years...

2023: 1
2024: 1 (FO)
2025: 2

Good info, thanks. It's all going to depend on how the SLI works out. I suspect we would combine ops around mid 2025. I have some SLI spreadsheets I think someone from NK ran a few months ago. I've been seeing where I'd slot in based on a few of those projections and I end up pretty close to the same % in base at DTW as I am in BOS right now. We'll see how it ends up. Even if I lose a little seniority, driving to work makes up the difference. Long way to go but it's fun to play around with.

Is there a link to check out that SLI? Hopefully they update it as well with all the hiring both of us are doing.

I have PDF and Excel spreadsheets but they're too large to upload here. Also, they're already outdated. On the spreadsheets t shows me about 20 higher than in the current B6 seniority list.

Been hearing some rumors that flights could be added to ORD before the merger. I think ORD could be a great hub for JB+NK. The market is incredibly large and important, and the market is extremely fractured. UAL, AA and SWA all have very large operations, and NK/F9 have notable operations as well. It's such a fractured market, that I think it could be easier for JB to muscle it's way in than it is in other large metros where the majority of customers already have strong loyalty to one brand, with status and deep mileage accounts that marry them to that company.

Now, can JB get a lot of gates? I do not know the answer to that question.
