Despite the DOJ’s opposition to it, looks like the case has been assigned to a Reagan judge appointee. Chances of DOJ’s arguments holding up in court is getting slimmer.

Except now the Pete Buttigieg is saying the DOT/FAA won’t transfer the Spirit operating certificate over, so those planes can be owned by JB, but can’t be merged. Kinda defeats the purpose to run separate airlines with separate employee groups, don’t you think?
