I’m taking these news as another way to get crew members to speak to the regulators blocking the merger. Why else announce news years out. The usual JetBlue hype man. While paying no profit sharing they want all the help from crew members.

The trips are awful for the past few months (we’ve been flying more for the same credit), no to profit sharing but hey let’s throw this email telling people about growth with a merger we don’t have and a plane we don’t have. I’ve seen this too much from JetBlue.

Yes, and not just from employees but state politicians as well. "Hey Florida, help us fight to get this merger approved! See all this sweet job growth and tourism you'll get??"

oh I didn’t send a email. He asked I said no
That is their job to figure out. Now maybe if we had ps and elt actually cared about employees I might have but that’s a choice they made.

However if there is one thing they are good at it’s PR so I’m sure they are ready. As much as I get annoyed with management they are good at somethings

I love how our ELT frames a merger/purchasing story as a growth story. I’m sorry but Tallahassee twice a day isn’t a growth story. Corporate spin never ceases to amaze me..

Also, since we aren't actually increasing the number of pilots between the two groups, they will be removing routes somewhere else. They never seem to mention that in these emails. Its always "Hey, look at this bright shiney over here!" while they remove something without talking about it. The union does this same thing in every agreement and people just gobble it up, so what do I know?

I'll get excited for more Europe flying when we get widebodies to do it, otherwise its just more junior, redeye flying.
