Really cool watching my buds at the other airlines upgrading in under 2 years while I look forward to my 2nd displacement in 2 years.

Yes, junior CAs in particular. I suspect most FO displacements will get their seat back on the August System Bid without ever seeing an actual training event/displacement 🤞

Ok, makes sense....They stagger the bids close enough that they can tailor the Annual System bid to try to clean up whatever mess the Supplemental bid may cause....But ultimately they need to do the Supp to close (or significantly draw down) the 190 bases.

Honestly I read your posts most of the time and agree with you 100%.

But we are parking the E190s, which has been the open plan for a long time. What do you want them to do with your E190CA seat?

Although, I do agree it's frustrating watching our peers have great careers (for now) while JB continues to give us the full Jetblue Affect.

If you count the double-down JetBlue culture, you're still slightly ahead of your peers.

I lost count, I thought it was at least a triple-down or double-dog-down, triple-stamp or quad-down on culture by now?

I'm in the same boat. I've been displaced from the left seat twice since 2019. Lets hope we avoid it this round.....

you may initially be displaced on paper but I'm guessing it all gets sorted out in the annual.

Some of those super junior 190CAs only got that seat because the plane was going away. They will likely lose their seats because with the 220 pay rates some of the more senior FOs will likely finally upgrade. I'm betting your seniority will be fine though.

If you are on a fleet that is retiring then a trip to the schoolhouse or a change of base to keep your seat is inevitable. If you take a really junior spot somewhere and get displaced then that's the gamble. There is a reason a lot of folks bypass upgrade until they can hold a certain percent in base. If you really need CA pay then that is unfortunate as it forces your hand.
