May Supp Bid

BOS 190 displacements for sure, but I bet they decide to keep some 190s around beyond the projected end of 2025 retirement. I’m guessing 100-150 BOS 190 CA displacements leaving around 50-70 crews on the fleet at the end of 2025.

So Junior BOS 320 CAs definitely should be looking around at where they might end up? Or any Jr 320 CA for that matter?

Yes, junior CAs in particular. I suspect most FO displacements will get their seat back on the August System Bid without ever seeing an actual training event/displacement 🤞

agreed. This will probably be mostly just the displacements with some token bos320 to absorb the more senior 190 guys.
then they reevaluate and clean it all up in the August bid adding any of the new bases they are planning on.
if you get something In this supplement bid you don’t like don’t freak out until after the August bid.

From JW on a pocket session maybe 6 weeks ago, he stated there would be a supplemental mid summer-ish to phase out the last of the 190's. The annual system bid will be structured like the last in that there will be added vacancies to absorb any displacements to let everyone get their seat back, and in hopes no one actually has to move (except the 190 guys).
From his mouth, FWIW, was that there will be NO additional displacements outside the 190.
My guess is they took the survey data and added vacancies to run a little fat, because thats cheaper than displacements and the associated training cycle.
