He’s not wrong. People do want a miracle, which would be turning this thing around in the quarter following a major leadership change. They haven’t even stopped flying the cancelled LAX and SA routes. Maybe let their changes have a chance to make a difference? |

To be somewhat fair, re: Latin America, I know AA dropped their NY to Colombia routes in the last couple years (first Cali and Medellin, the Bogota). They also dropped NY to Chile. So maybe Latin America is underperforming in general. But they also added NY to Mexico City and Monterrey.
Both United and Delta both cited weakness in Latam flying. |
