Obviously. How else would you convince people you're a real Delta pilot?

Please God tell me this is a joke and we won’t have epaulets on the exterior of a jacket.

Not a joke. Read the JetBlue News email from May15th. Apparently, not being identified as a pilot was a concern. I don’t want to be identified as a pilot when commuting or walking through the airport, and certainly not on my layover.

Agree. I want a completely de-identified coat. I'm not interested in playing airport information officer 79 times per day.

Guys. This is them recinding the jacket policy. No one's gonna be out there with a thermometer checking for coats. The new policy could be read as "Don't be a moron and fly to NYC when it's 55 and do your walk around shivering." This is a good thing. Take the win.

idk there’s a certain BOS CP who’s hell bent on screwing over pilots in every way possible. He might might be out there with a thermometer. Iykyk who I’m talking about

Oh just put a pi$$ed off beyond belief scowl on your face a walk like you have somewhere to go. They don’t bother you then.

they didn’t care about us being identified as pilots when they came out with that ridiculous wool coat, why do they care now?

Because they’re Laser focused and doubled down on culture. That culture includes values. Those values include caring. You’re welcome.

lol the traveling public is stupid, that's why they ask "are you a pilot"?

Oh wait, "Are you a pilot, or a Co-pilot?".

I'm a "First Officer".

"Oh so when are you going to be a pilot?".

Anyway so you honestly think they care about your culture? You're a glorified bus driver to them. But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night.
