You’d be surprised by how much guidance affects a stock. Our stock is where it should be always because everything is already priced in. We can wish or say it’s oversold but the reality is our stock is priced exactly what the market thinks we’re worth.

Edit: I’m referencing the Efficient Market Hypothesis.

Was doing okay until POTUS confirmed that tarriffs are starting tomorrow on Canada and Mexico.

I think we're heading into a self inflicted recession pretty soon. Hold onto your butts!

Exactly, it’s where it should be. When the sp was in the $3.00 range, it boggles my mind no one tried a takeover then.

I assume you mean a hostile takeover. With ~353m shares outstanding you’d need to purchase 177m. Getting that many shares without sending the price much higher would be difficult if buying on the open market.

Submitting a merger offer to the JBLU BOD at $3/share would absolutely be rejected because it is reasonable to expect a higher price in the future with their turn around plans.

Sometimes the market panics and stock prices get crushed.

The union is starting a new merger fund. It seems that they think a merger is becoming increasingly likely.

Most airlines have a standing SLI fund.

Prudent move in this climate.

But they didn't have one from the NK situation?

They had one and refunded it late last year. Haven’t heard of a new merger fund unless I missed an email.

New merger SLI fund voted to be established , they haven't decided how it will be paid for. I don't think they see anything coming, it's just prudent to have something in place than nothing. Makes sense.
