TPIC is not a requirement, soft or not. I got hired without it, hundreds have recently. Even in this ultra-competitive environment plenty of F9 peers of mine leave for legacies every single month, nearly all with 0 TPIC.
The problem is the applicant.

I think you’re both making different points. TPIC helps but not a requirement. The majority of those who left were junior FOs with little or no TPIC. My point stands however, you aren’t special because you’re in United as opposed to those like myself who chose to stay. We aren’t trying to get to United, if I wanted to I would have gone, I got plenty of those there that I can assure you I’d get in. You seemed worried in your other posts concerned about macro factors that can affect you staying junior or worse. I know putting others down is a defense mechanism you have. I won’t hold it against you kid.
PS if you only knew my paycheck vs the amount I fly you wouldn’t comment on that.

Fortunately for me you’ll never fly with me and if you did, you’d be Junior to me for life. I’m not a kid, probably not very far from you in age. It is what it is, I’m sorry JetBlue is where the industry steered you when you were coming up. I worked hard to get where I am and wasn’t gifted a single handout. Sure timing worked out. But need to contend with the realities of the current landscape. Want to make money? Put your apps out.

The same can be said about anyone that wasn’t part of any kind of ab initio gateway program. And believe it or not, many of us here at JetBlue came here for a very specific reason like I dunno not having to commute? Go take your rhetoric someplace else, no one cares what you think.
